A solar plan built around your home.

A useful proposal starts with the site and your goals. These are the details we review together.

Roof, shade & available space

Review roof orientation, shading, usable installation area and roof condition. Identify any roof work or other coordination needed before a solar installation.

Electricity use & future plans

Use recent electricity bills to understand your household’s usage. Discuss planned changes such as an electric vehicle, heat pump or addition when reviewing system options.

Electrical connections

Review the service, panel and proposed connection method. Any panel or service upgrade should be based on the home’s equipment and the proposed scope.

Start with an estimate. Confirm it with a site review.

Our home solar estimator lets you explore an editable scenario for system size, production and costs. Its results are planning estimates. A site review and written proposal establish the equipment, electrical work and project assumptions for your property.

Questions about residential solar.

Is solar suitable for my roof?

Roof orientation, shading, available area and roof condition all affect the options. Photos and a site review help establish what is practical for your home.

Will my electrical panel need an upgrade?

Not every solar project needs a panel replacement. We review the existing equipment and proposed connection before recommending electrical work.

Will solar keep my home running during an outage?

A standard grid-connected solar system generally shuts down during a grid outage. Backup operation requires a system specifically designed for it, with suitable equipment and controls. Tell us if backup power is one of your goals.

What should I send to get started?

Send your address, recent electricity bills and roof and electrical-panel photos if available. Please do not remove panel covers to take photos. Include your goals and any roof work or major electrical changes you are planning.

Can the estimator guarantee savings or payback?

No. Production and financial results depend on the site, system, installation cost, electricity use and rates. The estimator helps you explore assumptions; it is not a quote or a performance guarantee.
